Mission:Mutt-i-grees in Full Swing at Santa Monica Boulevard Community Charter School

Mission: Mutt-i-grees 2015 is picking up steam at Santa Monica Boulevard Community Charter School in California! In addition to selling Jeter Brag Tags and Mutt-i-gree wristbands, students also sold raffle tickets for a chance to win a lunch date with their school mascot (and Mutt-i-gree in Residence), Jeter.

Students Get Hands On with Mutt-i-grees at Animal League America

Unqua Elementary School in Massapequa, NY began implementing the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum this fall and the students are loving it! To enhance what they are learning in the classroom, students visited North Shore Animal League America this week for a behind-the-scenes tour of the world’s largest no-kill rescue organization. Both the students and the puppies and kittens they visited with truly enjoyed the experience.

New York City Student Raises $100 for Shelter Animals

Inspired by the charitable work of one of her classmates, a New York City middle school student, named Sam, has raised $100 for North Shore Animal League America’s Help Me Heal Program. Sam is a member of her school’s YAP (or Youth Animal Protectors) Club and studies the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum. These two programs work in conjunction at her school to teach students about animals in need and encourage relevant service learning projects.
