Preschool students in Arkansas love learning new yoga positions, especially downward-facing dog. Mutt-i-gree Puppet loves yoga, too!
Mutt-i-grees trainers from Fenton Charter Schools will provide training on the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum to approximately 50 educators from Santa Monica Blvd. Community Charter School on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Barbara, Crystle, Shannon, Martha, Mary, and Toni can’t wait to share Mutt-i-grees with their peers!
On Friday, January 25th, 2013 the students and staff of Saint Augustine Catholic School in Hartford, Connecticut had a special visitor, Harrison the Mutt-i-gree®! The students of St. Augustine have been participating in the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum as a part of their school’s Developmental Guidance program. Cynthia Niedbala, the school’s principal, has been looking forward to implementing the Curriculum at her school since she attended a Mutt-i-grees® Orientation and Training Conference in April 2012.
Three very special guests taught approximately 80 young P.U.P.S. Club members about the ways in which service dogs assist others. All the children were highly engaged during the presentations - dogs really do bring out the best in all of us! Mutt-i-gree® Puppet joined in on the fun, of course.
On February 19, 2013, M.U.T.T.S. Club members from Clinton and South Side schools held a "Flippin' Early Pancake Breakfast" and served breakfast to students, parents, and community members. They raised approximately $200, which they will present to the Van Buren County Animal Shelter. Way to go M.U.T.T.S. Club!
