2011 National Conference A Huge Success!

We just got back from Louisville, KY where the Animal League, Yale 21C and the Cesar Millan Foundation, as well as Mutt-i-grees® educators from several states, participated in the 2011 National Conference. The conference was co-hosted by the KY Family Resource and Youth Services Centers and Yale 21C and included Guy Doud, Jim Hinson and Patrick Henry Hughes as keynote speakers, and presentations from the KY Commissioner of Education and the Deputy Secretary for the KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

The conference theme – Victory Over Violence – provided a perfect backdrop for the presentations on the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum, with its focus on helping kids become calm, confident and caring. We were joined by pets from local shelters, and kids from Ponderosa Elementary School in Boyd County, KY who taught us to dance to Walkin’ the Dog. We are now planning next year’s national conference and the Mutt-i-grees 2011-2012 Training Schedule. Dates and other details will be posted shortly.
