Orientation will include a foundational overview of the research base for the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum, as well as discussions on implementation options, service learning, internships, youth development programs, and collaborations between schools, libraries, and animal shelters. Attendees will also participate in a model Mutt-i-grees lesson/activity.

Educators/librarians in schools/libraries that are interested in or have just begun implementing the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum/Mutt-i-grees in the Library are encouraged to attend. For more information, please contact Kay Hammerson at kayh@animalleague.org.

Thanks to the generosity of the TD Charitable Foundation, registration fees for this training will be waived for all attendees.

Mutt-i-grees training is provided by a team of educators from across the country, as well as Mutt-i-grees program staff from Yale School of the 21st Century and North Shore Animal League America.
