Creations for Canines

As part of the Mutt Club at Middle Country Public Library, children in 2nd to 5th grade created no-sew pet blankets to donate to a local shelter. The Mutt Club provides real-life experiences and community connections through programs based on humane education with a focus on Mutt-i-grees. Middle Country Public Library is the national pilot site for Mutt-i-grees in the Library.

K-9 Officers Visit P.U.P.S. Club

Preschool students received a special visit from police dogs and Mutt-i-grees teacher, Melanie Brindley, introduced Mutt-i-gree Puppet to some furry friends!

Mutt-i-grees Cutest Pet Contest Benefits Paragould Animal Welfare Society

Mrs. Tammy & Miss April's Mutt-i-grees Preschool Class at School of the 21st Century sponsored a "Cutest Pet" contest to raise money for Paragould Animal Welfare Society. They raised $261.34. The contest was done after using the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum this year. Congrats to the winner, Annie Oakley, who is owned by Berkley Trout!

Mutt-i-grees Steal the Show at MCPL Pet Parade

Families proudly showed off their Mutt-i-grees at Middle Country Public Library's 10th annual Pet Parade on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. Middle Country Public Library is the national pilot site for Mutt-i-grees in the Library and is offering Mutt-i-grees programming throughout the summer.
