Gardiner Library Loves Mutt-i-grees!

The Gardiner Library in Gardiner, NY enjoyed incorporating Mutt-i-grees in the Library into their summer programming this year. Several guest speakers visited the library with service and therapy dogs to present to children in Kindergarten to 5th grade.

Children Learn from Bailey the Mutt-i-gree

Throughout the summer, Bailey, a Mutt-i-gree rescued from a shelter in Kentucky, has visited the Avon Public Library in Avon, MA to help children with their literacy skills. Each time she visits, children line up to take turns reading to her! Bailey’s handler and best friend, Wendy, spoke to children about her training and how she was brought to Massachusetts and adopted.

Newton Public Library Hosts Mutt-i-grees® in the Park Event

Newton Public Library in Newton, Kansas has been working with Caring Hands Humane Society to bring the Mutt-i-grees® message to their community.

Lunenburg Public Library Enjoys Its First Story Hour with the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum

Lunenburg Public Library in Lunenburg, MA had its first Mutt-i-gree® story hour this summer.  Many of the children that attended also brought donations for the local shelter.

Mutt-i-grees Mania Continues at Middle Country Public Library

This summer, families in Centereach, NY were treated to a variety of Mutt-i-grees programs at Middle Country Public Library, including a Pet Parade, K9 reading sessions, and a visit from a special canine friend at the sheriff’s department.
