Mutt-i-grees® Orientation & Training a Success in New York

Educators and school counselors from NY, CT, NJ, PA, AR, TN, and WI participated in a two-day regional orientation conference on the Mutt-i-grees® Curriculum on April 19-21, 2012. Mutt-i-grees® National Trainers Norma Meek and Deb Swink and Mutt-i-grees® Peer Trainers Jim Messina, Valerie Lawson, Natalie Horton, and Judy Clay presented sessions on implementing the Curriculum in PreK-kindergarten, elementary, and middle/high schools and the challenges and effective approaches to bringing a dog to class. Participants were treated to a special session from Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan and his dog, Junior, who interacted with participants at the end of the session. Also attending with Cesar were Cesar Millan Foundation staff, including newly appointed executive director, Jillian Dunn. Attendees left excited and inspired to put new ideas into action!
